Topic Research:

Sita's birth story sounds like an interesting subject. I found the version of her birth story in Valmiki's Ramayana intriguing, in which she was found in a furrow of a plowed field.

I would also enjoy using stories about the development of Shashthi, the goddess of childbirth. I would like to infuse her story with elements of samsara, or reincarnation. Shashthi can grant children to devotees, but it would add another element to her story to show her choosing children from the constant number of souls in the world, deciding how they could still grow, and putting them in new lives and situations to help them with that spiritual growth.

Also, one of Ganesha's birth stories, in which he was born from a goddess after she drank Parvati's bath water from a river is good because it demonstrates growth from waste. The cyclical nature is insightful.
